Student Jobs

There are usually jobs as a student assistant (called "Hiwi" (= Hilfswissenschaftler) in German) available on various research projects either at the university or at the various research institutes on the campus. Summer jobs and internships may also be on offer.

Internships

From intake 2020 LCT students have to take an internship, e.g. in a company or in a research institution. In the local LST programme there is also the possibility to get ECTS points for an internship. The procedure is as follows:

1. The student proposes an internship to the local coordinator.
2. The local coordinator approves the proposed internship.
3. The student completes the internship.
4. The student submits an application to the LST study advisor to recognize the completed internship.
