Welcome to my personal webpage!

I completed my PhD on articulatory speech synthesis in the International Post-Graduate College Language Technology & Cognitive Systems. Parts of my thesis extended joint work with Korin Richmond at the University of Edinburgh's Centre for Speech Technology Research.

In 2010, I worked as a researcher at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence Language Technology Lab, collaborating with Marc Schröder in the PAVOQUE project on parameterizing prosody and voice quality in speech synthesis.

In January 2011, I joined the LORIA Speech Group as an INRIA postdoc to work with Slim Ouni on the development of an articulatory animation framework for integration in audiovisual speech synthesis, driven by 3D electromagnetic articulography.

My research interests include multilingual text-to-speech systems, accent morphing, articulatory modeling, and medical imaging.
