(Embodied) Language Comprehension


In this lecture, I will present theories and evidence from psycholinguistics that describe language processing as a mechanism that is shaped by and crucially depends on our interaction with the world and with other people. We will consider contributions from various fields such as language acquisition, motor cognition theory, and adult language comprehension in face-to-face interaction.
