Getting to Saarbrücken
- Traveling to Saarland University by plane: There are
several possibilities.

Airport. It is a big international airport that is easy to reach from
many locations. The train from there to Saarbrücken takes about
two and a half hours.
- Frankfurt/Hahn is not in Frankfurt, despite its name, but in
the middle of the woods. It mainly serves flights from Europe. There
are buses from there to Saarbrücken several times a day.
- Also in the vicinity: Luxemburg airport and Strasbourg airport.
- Saarbrücken itself has an airport, but it has planes
mainly to and from very few holiday locations, and it is hard to reach
by public transport.

the information terminal there to find out where the next train
