Requirements qualifying for a full seminar ``Schein'':

• Presentation (Referat): Each student has to give a presentation at least once during the semester. A presentation by one student can cover an entire session, or two students can share a session.
• Question (Frage): Before each session (by Thursday 16:00), every student has to send me a question based on the reading assigned to that session.
• Paper (Hausarbeit): Each student has to write a paper of 4-10 pages on a chosen topic discussed with me. The deadline for delivering the papers is August 31, 2002.

Note: Hard copies of the articles are available in a folder in the CoLi library. Alternatively, most of the cited works are available on the internet. In some cases I have included URLs in the citations.
