I am interested in all areas of speech production and perception, and in the application of speech knowledge to questions of pronunciation learning, speech and voice pathology and speech technology.
The Institute is currently engaged in projects on linguistic and paralinguistic prosody, cross-language phonetic analysis of phrasal prominence(production and perception), articulatory speech synthesis, and combined acoustic and neurological analysis of laryngeal and supra-laryngeal articulations.
