Synopsis

My publications include monographs on German and Multilingual Speech Synthesis (AIMS, 2001) and German Intonation (Ein quantitatives Modell der deutschen Intonation. Niemeyer, Tübingen, 1993). I also contributed to Multilingual Text-to-Speech Synthesis - The Bell Labs Approach (ed. by Richard Sproat, 1998). The German version of the Bell Labs TTS system was presented in Computer Speech and Language 13, 1999.
