Course description

In this series of lectures we focus on the following topics:

  • characteristic properties of different grammar models
  • Phrase Structure Grammars
  • Lexical Functional Grammar (LFG)
  • Head-Driven Phrase Structure Grammar (HPSG)
  • German in HPSG

    Exam at the end of the semester (Für Studierende, die einen Schein benötigen, wird am Ende des Semesters eine Klausur angeboten (Deadline für online registration 08.02.2006)).

    The lecture is accompanied by exercises. The participation in the lectures and the tutorials/exercises is compulsory. (Zu den Vorlesungen gibt es Kontrollfragen und Übungsaufgaben. Die regelmäßige Teilnahme und die Abgabe der Übungsaufgaben sind obligatorisch.)
