    • Feature structures and unification, generalization, disjunction and negation

    • Head-Driven Phrase Structure Grammars


    Winter Semester 2009/2010

        Syntactic Theory

    • In this lecture, we present the following syntactic theories:

      • An overview of the "Chomskyan" approaches to syntax
      • Dependency Grammars, special focus on Meaning-Text Theory
      • Tree Adjoining Grammars
      • Lexical Functional Grammars
      • Head-Driven Phrase Structure Grammar


    Winter Semesters 2007/2008 - 2009/2010

        Introduction to Morphology

    • This three hours lecture is part of a general introduction to linguistics for computer scientists. It covers a general overview of morphological phenomena and a short introduction to automata.
