Bootstrapping Precision Grammar Lexicons

Abstract:
In this talk, I will describe work done in the past year on bootstrapping morphosyntactic lexical properties with a view towards building precision grammar lexicons in different languages automatically. I will also discuss how we plan to evaluate these properties in terms of parse coverage, and the interaction with lexical syntactico-semantic properties. Finally, I will present results from recent experiments on the impact of the corpus for machine learning these sorts of properties.
