Abstract:
Automatic image annotation has been attracting more and more attention in the information retrieval and computer vision community , which focuses on the relationship between visual information and semantic concepts and try to use statistical learning methods to model the relationship. In this talk, I will briefly introduce the principle, framework and potential applications of this research topic.
