This course will provide an overview of experimental methods in psycholinguistics, including the following areas: Description of various state-of-the-art methods (e.g., eye-tracking, EEG), experimental designs, analyses tools, and the evaluation of findings. Students will gather hands-on experience of all stages of experimental research by designing and running experiments, learning the fundamentals of the statistical software environment R in order to conduct basic statistical modeling of the results, as well as learn how to present experimental results in the standard format of psycholinguistic research reports (APA).
