 Submission Instructions

YRR 2008: Submission Process

Potential participants should submit a 2-page position paper which should include past, present and future work, a short bio and topic suggestions for the workshop. Potential participiants should also indicate whether they would be interested in attending the extended session on Frameworks and Grand Challenges for Dialog System Evaluation on Sunday morning when emailing their position papers. The format and outline is provided in latex and word templates. If you want to see what people submitted for last year's workshop, please check the proceedings from last year here.

Submission templates: Word zip-file, LaTeX zip-file, LaTeX tgz-file
Only pdf documents can be accepted for submission.

In addition to the position papers, this YRR for the very first time offers attendees the opportunity to receive feedback from academic and industry panelists as well as from fellow attendees on a poster or demo of their current work. We will provide space to put up posters during the lunch break. This is a great chance to receive feedback from other researchers working in the same research area in an informal way - so don't miss out on this opportunity! In case you want to present a demo, please bring a laptop.

Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis from that day until the maximum number of participants for the workshop (50) is reached, or until the submission deadline May 10th 13th, 2008 is reached. Please submit your PDF file to the organizing committee at yrr08-organizers _AT_ googlegroups _DOT_ com

The submitted discussion topics will be clustered, and preceeding the workshop, participants will be asked to express their interest in the topics chosen for discussion. Signup instructions will be emailed to each participant after acceptance. Specific questions can be directed to the organizing committee at yrr08-organizers _AT_ googlegroups _DOT_ com
